It's doing my head in!!

Hi'a everybody,

I am having problems installing, and uninstalling a certain programme. I tried to install Asus Digital VCR the other day. It brought up an error message (which I can't remember what it was...probably something to do with the uninst.isu file) but seemed to install the programme ok anyway. I discovered it was an older version, so went to uninstall it so I could install the new version...and it's been hell ever since :( ...lol.

I can't uninstall it basically. I get the error message telling me that the file uninst.isu is either not valid or corrupt. I have done a google search (several actually) and found a lot of advice like deleting the corrupt file, using different reg edit programmes etc...but nothing has worked. Please help else I'll have to reformat my hard drive and well...you know what a pain that is....

If you say it's an older version, then try reinstalling it and running your compatibility wizard.
