It couldn't be!

Greetings...

System is freezing/locking up. Maybe 30 sec's after start or 30
minutes...no rhyme or reason as to when it occurs. A friend with a like
issue changed his mouse and the problem was solved...... Could someone tell
me if a mouse could be the cause of a 100% freeze??? I would say not, but
then again, I'm not a tech.

Took it to a tech friend who kept it for a week. He advised no such problem
ever occured??? Get it back home and the S*#T starts again...???

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

***NOTE...I've done ALL the basic crap like defrag/AdAware/Spybot,
etc.....Virus protection is current.....drivers OK.....etc...etc...***

It could be caused by AC power fluctuations in your home. Is the
computer sharing a circuit with any large appliances? Try using a
different AC circuit. You also could try using a UPS (Uninterruptable
Power Supply) which will help even out any power fluctuations and is a
good idea to have anyway.
