Steve

When trying to register this product it went through this
protocol asking me to set up connection to email through
Outlook. I use a DSL connection through Yahoo.

It seems I have not done this well b/c When using
Outlook I get this constantly recurring:

!Task 'Yahoo!Mail - Sending reported error
(0x800CCCF4) : 'Unknown Error 0x800CCCF4'

Help please.

Sorry, but it's hard to understand exactly as written.
Breaking your concern down to individual pieces
may help:

"When trying to register this product..."
What product? A web registration or computer
generated form?

"...it went through this protocol..."
What is "it", the product above or
something else?
What do you mean by "protocol"?
In the computer world, protocol means
'rules determining the format and transmission of data'

"asking me to set up connection to email through Outlook"
Do you mean your SBC/Yahoo DSL installation gave you
an 'option' to set up your email account using Outlook?
If this is the case, you may resolve your problem by
visiting this webpage and selecting your Outlook
version in the drop-down box:

I know it's very frustrating to have something that does
not work. Especially when it's difficult to figure out
how to even approach a solution. I hope the above
helps, but if it doesn't, post back so others more
knowledgeable can give it a shot.
Good Luck
