Issue with outlook 2000 and vista

Hey, so i recently installed office 2000 on my laptop and everything has been
working fine. This was up until everytime i start my computer, outlook loads
the setup screen.
I have gone through every possible setup scenario, but each startup brings
up the same outlook startup screen.

I am sure there is a simple solution to it, however i haven't been able to
find anything in particular.

Note: an uninstall and reinstall is out of the question as all of my disks
aren't with me
Sorry if this is in the wrong section...
Thanks in advance

Perhaps someone else who actually uses Vista might give you a pointer that
works...I am not sure what you mean by the setup screen but I assume you mean
it asks you to set up an e-mail address and so on (did you already do all
that?)

Also, you should be aware that although Outlook 2000 may work on Vista, it
is not a Microsoft-supported configuration so there are no guarantees. Only
Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 are designed to work with Vista.
