Issue with command.com on W2k.

Everytime I attempt to start command.com (I realize I can use cmd.exe, but we
have some 16-bit DOS apps that run on the server from time to time), I get
the following error:

NTVDM has encountered a System Error
The system cannot find the file specified.
Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Whether I click on Ignore or Close, the command window just shuts down. Does
anyone have any idea what file it's looking for? No info in Event Viewer.

Thanks for any info/help.

You can start 16-bit applications with cmd.exe. No need to
run command.com!

There are some malware programs floating about that pretend
to be command.com. Check if you have the right version, e.g.
by extracting it from your Win2000 CD.
