ISP logon password locked

This is a new computer with XP home, & I set up an ISP with dial up
connection. Subsequently I have set up a broadband supplier, but the logon
password saved in the computer always reverts to the original. I have even
deleted the 1st ISP but the password is still allocated to any new connection
that I set up.
Any ideas?

Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections>Go through and reconfigure...
