Isntallation Error

I used to be able to access my handy camcorder through the usb. I tried to
re-install the drivers it cam with it. It gives the New Hardware Found, but
in the process of re-installing the drivers, it gives this error: "An error
has occurred during installation.....Invalid Data....". I have tried
installing a webcam but got the same error.

I have done a clean uninstall , reboot and install...even tried clean
install of the usb 2 drivers. My keyboard is plugged in to the usb and so is
my wireless mouse and is working fine. My flash drive are working just fine
as well.

Please advise....Dondie

I would try to download the most recent drivers from the camcorders
manufacturer's site and see if that help, your cd may be corrupted so it
isn't installing correctly.

Thank you for the response. I have downloaded the latest driver as well and
got the same unfortunate errror msg.

The web cam i tried to install as well is brand new with brand new
driver....same error msg.
