Is WebDAV the same as or a subset of FTP features ? Detecting if ftp server has WebDAV option ?

Is WebDAV the same as ftp ? Or does it describe a subset of the fetaures of a ftp server ?

Is there a way to detect if a ftp server is accessible through WebDAV?

Just yesterday a guy named "Google" invented something called a "Search
Engine".

The "Google Search Engine" works like this: you type your question into the
white bar at the top of the page called (oddly enough)
"http://www.google.com ".

[Hint: this aint the Google search engine.]
