We have a bunch of Windows 2000 Professional workstations
on closed network (i.e. no connection to the outside world
and no Windows 2000 Server). It is a classroom
environment and the students continually change and delete
stuff as part of their training (grade school and high
school students). I have it set up so that the
workstations log in automatically as user
account "student." Is there a way in Win2K Pro to have
the profile for "student" be copied from a master profile
that is stored on that same workstation when the PC is
booted. The idea being then that all the teacher needs to
do is restart the PC to correct everything. Any ideas on
how to do this other than with roaming profiles requiring
a server?
Thanks,
Mark
