Is this virus?

Craig

Whenever I run Spybot -Search & Destroy,

"Microsoft. WindowsSecurtyCenter.AntiVirusOverride" is tagged as
virus.

Its registry location is: HKey_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security
Center\AntivirusOverride!=dword:0.

Please advise me. TIA. Chuck

Well, if you have Anti-virus and running it will disable this and Spyboy
will pick it up as danger and alert you to take your action and enable the
windows to protect you.
If you don't have then it is a virus and you need to scan from online vendor
and download an anti-virus like avast free from here:
http://www.avast.com
Read these links from spybot forums tackling the same issue as yours:

Hi Craig!

Spybot search and destroy will find this when security center is set to not
notify you of your antivirus status.

start>control panel > security center
on the left side you will find a link "change the way security center alerts
me" if any of these boxes are unticked spybot picks that up during the
scan.
