Is this temporary?

In MSN Messenger, my contact has closed his old accounts and I can't remove
him from the list of who added me to their contact list. I can delete it only
when I move it to the block list and delete it from their, so the trace of
the old addreess should be gone. What I want to ask is, does his old
accounts' information, including contacts, get deleted in a month? It
clutters the menu when i want to see who added me to their contact list.

Your "contact" has to do the same to your account as you did with his , when
your contact has place you in the delete/ block section , then you can have
the option to delete him

Then you wait until the contact is 6 months old, and garbage collection
of old contacts takes place, as is "supposedly" happening now.
