Hi,
I would like to know if I can do the following...
2 users share the same PC (winXp pro), and there are 3 drives partitioned.

Is it possible for a user (limted access) to login to a default drive when
clicking their username at logon? (which means they can't see the others
drive)

or do I need to set up some restrictions on each forlder?
TIA

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand 'My Computer', click on 'Drives', then uncheck the
drives you wish to hide.

I think a better way to do this would be to make the partitions on all drives
setup with the NTFS file system. When you create a user, create a password
as well, it will ask if you want to make that users files private. Click
yes. It should restrict access to that users profile to only that user (And
administrators). Don't make all users on the PC administrators and you
should be all set. No user will be able to see any files under any other
users profile. No need for multiple hard drives.
