Is there any way to repair the Internet Explorer History feature?

I learned the hard way about a program that damages the visited website
history feature. I was running the program called Windows Washer by Webroot
and it has once again eliminated the tracking of websites through the
website history. If anyone knows how to get the history feature working
again please let me know. I think that program must have deleted something
that would make that feature of Internet Explorer work. Now I only get 1 day
history period. If anyone has any idea what could have been deleted and if
it can be fixed please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

Thats not the problem at all. It's set for 20days already. I've had this
problem before and had to make a whole new user account. The last time I
thought it was caused by spyware but now I know that windows washer must be
deleting something that shouldn't be deleted. There must be a necessary file
for the history thing to work that has been removed. Anyway I don't know if
it can be fixed. If anyone knows what the problem is let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

I think i figured it out. that window washer program installs some files
that dont work with internet explorer 6.0 and when you uninstall that
program it leaves them behind. i found them and deleted them and i think my
website history is showing up again. it installs aq history file for IE5
which is definetly not what XP uses. i deleted those and things are working
again.
