IE6 History Doesn't Work Anymore

I cannot get my history feature to work. It will track for 1 day then it
loses information. I'm wondering if something for it got deleted and what
folder it is that controls that. If anyone can help please let me know. and
NO it is not the settings in internet explorer options.

IIRC it's caused by an old version of an anti-virus program.(posts from
a few months back) Update the A-V or replace it and the problem disappears.

Turn off the ActiveX part of Internet Filter in McAfee Anti-virus.

its not from my antivirus tho either. i forgot to mention that. i was
running the program windows washer and it may delete something important
when it clears the history. i dont know if i can get it working again now
but i know ive uninstalled that program. thanks for your help though.

You may have to reinstall the progam and then set it to NOT flush the
history before you "uninstall" it.
