RE Internet Explorer - history

I am about to sell a computer with installed software, so I need to make it
as clean as possible. When I have used the function in Internet Explorer to
delete files and cockies, and also deleted all history and set the history
value to 0, there are still some references to internet pages left. When I
type in the IE explorer address field, the program fills in addresses to
internet pages previously visited.
Where is that information hidden, and how can I delete it. I have promised
my buye that all program data shall be removed, but I can not find this piece
of information anywhere.

The best way is to format the machine and re-install
Windows. This will ensure that everything from your
settings are gone.

Properties on the Start Menu,
Clear Recently Run Programs and Recently Opened documents in the
appropriate options pages.

Control Panel > Internet Options, Clear it here and make sure IE isn't
loaded when you do it. Then start up IE after this and it should be done.
Might also want to clear personal information, saved form values etc aswell
