Is there an Offline Files guru in the house?

I have a brand new well specified Latitude laptop used by an executive which
goes completely nuts when Offline files are enabled. This machine is
dual-homed--it has both wired Ethernet and Wireless, and when it is sitting
in a docking station in the office, both are active.

When the user logs in (physically in the office) he may be able to start out
fine, but after a very short time Offline files says that he is working
offline, and after that he cannot see server-based resources that are not
set to be replicated. Sometimes he can see all the files/shares through
Explorer, but not in Word.

Any suggestions or thoughts? I have tried looking at all the KB articles
brought up by a search on "offline files" without much success. This
machine will be upgraded to Vista before long, which might or might not
change the behavior.

Thanks - I'll check those details. I've not been turning wireless off on
docked laptops, and typically they acquire two IP's from the SBS DHCP
server, which isn't a problem.
