In our office we use the offline files feature so that our
traveling sale men have there files with them when they go
on the road.
I have experienced this problem twice and I am wondering
if any one has a reason for it happening. The problem is:
When a salesman is on the road, for the first few days (up
to a week) the files from the network drive are
available. When he gets up in the morning, they are
available, but after he shuts down the computer and goes
to a client site, the files are no longer available.
The "make available offline" is still checked and the top
level folders are still there but they are empty.
The saleman is then not able to get to his files unless he
is on line or he must wait until he is back in the office,
remove the offline files and recreate them.
