Is there a way to "undo" in Outlook Notes?

I unfortunately highlighted a block of text and deleted it, and there does
not appear to be a way to "undo" this deletion. Any help is appreciated.

Can you press Ctrl+Z?

Yes, I tried Ctrl+Z.

I found one site that said Ctrl+Z works, but only if it is a new note that
has not yet been "auto-saved". It appears it does not work after that time.

Correct, closing a note will commit the change and cannot be undone.
