Undo in email?

Is there a way of recovering chunks of text or whole emails which are
accidentally deleted whilst writing emails by inadvertently hitting a wrong
key. Suspect this a key nearALT or left of the space bar somewhere. Unlike
Word which has the UNDO button for this purpose Outlook does not appear to
have a function to reinstate the text. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank
you.

Ctrl+Z.

Outlook most certainly has an undo function. Depending on your version of
Outlook and which window you look at, you'll find it in either the Edit menu
or on the Quick Access Toolbar. CTRL+Z also works.
