In Outlook can I change new text color in forward mails to black?

If I want to forward an email to someone using Outlook, but make small
changes so it appears like a new mail, currently Outlook by default creates
extra spaces and changes the text color of any new text to blue (which I then
have to undo).

Is it possible to change the default settings so I can edit forwarded mails
without the blue color and extra spaces?

Thanks!!!

Comments written in the original email upon a forward uses your configured
forward/reply style.
If you want to compose it like it was the original email you shouldn't use
Forward but open the message and select Resend this Message from the Actions
menu.

Excellent tip. I so missed the CTL-E fucntion of T-Bird to open message as
new.

However, I have a question relating to this topic as well. Sometimes as I
am typing a new e-mail (not replying or forwarding) the composer "slips" into
reply mode, where the font color is blue and and each line is indented by an
extra space. I suppose I could change the forward/reply style, but I'd like
to know why this happens (and if there's something I can do to correct it),
or if it doeshappen, is there a quick way out (reset all style settings
somehow)?
