Is there a way to disable the 'Junk E-mail folder/process? This feature is
taking lots of time to select and classify as junk mail all the ones that
get through to my inbox, one at a time. I don't have time for it? IM

Choose Tools > Junk E-mail Options from the menu bar. Choose No Automatic
Filtering. I haven't tried it, but it seems it should work. (Then again, it
also takes no time at all for the junk mail to be filtered out for for me. So
maybe something else is wrong here).

My in box gets maybe (30 - 50) spam emails each day that aren't caught by
the junk filter. If I could select all of them in a group, and classify them
all as junk mail in one shot there would be no problem. The way it works
now, you have right click each individual junk mail, and choose the action
you want taken. It's time consuming, and not what I want to be doing. Thanks
for your idea, I might give it a try, but it doesn't sound like it based on
the descriptions - IM

I find it easier to focus on who you do want to get e-mail from, rather than
from whom you don't, because there's about a jillion people from whom you
don't want to get mail from. To do that set the junk mail folder to Safe
Senders only. Use the Safe Senders list to list domain names (not addresses)
of companies with which you do business. Choose the option to always trust
e-mail from people in your Contacts folder.

Each time you check your Junk Mail folder, take a quick look to see if
there's anything in there that's useful. If so, right-click it an add the
sender to your Contacts. The click Not Junk to move the message to your Inbox.
You might get some good mail in your Junk Mail filter for the first few days
or weeks. But eventually, those will be very few and far between. And you'll
never get any junk mail in your Inbox. I've done it this way for years and it
works like a charm. Very quick and very low-maintenance.
