Is there a keyboard shortcut for "switch programs" in PowerPoint 2

I want to be able to go from my presentation to an application running behind
it without havng to click on the slide icon, mouse over "screen" and click on
"switch programs" every time I want to bounce back and forth. Is this
possible with a keyboard shortcut?

The standard Windows Alt-TAB should do what you want.
