How to toggle between two PP presentation while in SLIDE SHOW.

When using two POWERPOINT files in a single presentation in SLIDE SHOW mode,
is there a keyboard command that will switch you back and forth between the
two files without leaving the SLIDE SHOW mode? In the SLIDE SHOW mode, you
cannot access any of the menu bars so I am assuming the old way is to use
keyboard commands. Thank you in advance.

If you start both shows up, you can use Alt+Tab to cycle among the various open
windows. If you switch back and forth between the two shows, then from then on
a single Alt+Tab will take you from one to the other.

Robbie,

Can you elaborate 'why' you would want to flip between two presentations?

I may have a solution :)

Use Alt Tab
This will switch between active processes - these will include your two
presentations in both slide show and edit mode.

I can offer a reason why I want to.
I have one presentation that calls up another one as a "subsiduary" one
(usually containing examples). Sometimes I wish to flip back to the main
presentation to emphasise a point made earlier and then return to the
example in the subsiduary presentation.

Solution offered in a separate post - I wonder if it is the same as yours!

I wondered if you wanted to seamlessly go from one presentation to the next.
But it sounds like you know how to do that anyway.

As well as alt tab - in 2003 and later (not XP) you can call up the toolbar
with ctrl T and swap with that.
