Hi ... Whenever I download a program it will download ok but to get the
program to install there seem to be a 10 seconds delay before it will
install , Is there some setting that I can correct with this matter ?
Normally with other computers it will download ok and there might be 1
or 2 seconds delay before it goes into the install process , So is
there a fix for this ?

TIA

Do you have an anti-virus running? They often scan the compressed files within an install package first.

Hi ... Programs that I use are zone alarm , nod32 , jv16 power tools, spywareblaster , microsoft antispyware , spybot and , Once I just try out CCleaner too , All these apps are always up to date , I have xp pro full with sp2 , Though I believe my problem started after using ccleaner but , its hard to tell , So I guessing somewhere in the registry got corrupted ? Could it be fix without having to reformat ? Thanks
