Is there a conflict between these two domains

I set up two different networks (domains, with different
domain names). Each network has a domain controller.
Domain A has ip address in the form of 89.0.*.*, and
domain B has ip address in the form of 192.168.*.*. Now
between these two network, I set up a new PC, which has
two network cards. One network card is hooked up with
domain A, and the other hooked up with domain B. (I
assume it serves as a router, plz correct me if I am
wrong). I assigned the corresponding IPs to each NIC in
this intermediate PC so that from this PC, i can ping
domain controller A, and also can ping domain controller
B. Now my question is this:

Both domains have their Active Directory, DNS, WINS set up
on their own, when i connect these two domains in this
way, will there a conflict between this two domains? will
one domain synchronize with the other? Any potential harms
exist?

Thank you for your advice,

Hi,

Are the two domains in the same forest or separate forests? If in separate
forests they will not sync up. Either way there should not be a conflict
between the two domains.
Also the ne PC will NOT route between the subnets unless you configure it
too do so. And this new PC can only belong to one domain or the other - not
both. Being on the same subnet has nothing to do with belonging to a domain.

Thanks,

Thank you very much for the answer. My two domains are
set are in different forests. However, I did intend to
set up my intermediate PC as a router so I can do some
fancy stuff (as for what I haven't really decided yet).
To achieve this I guess i have to add some routes to this
PC's routing table (plz correct me if I am wrong. I am
just a Win Server learner). Now my new questions is,
after setting up this intermediate PC as a router, will my
two domains sync up?

My guess is "not" :)
