is ther a way to slow down title speed?

I am adding a variety of titles to my movie and would
like to slow down the speed of some of the titles so they
can be read easier-is there a way to do this?
I can do it in imovie

Grab the right trim handle on the clip in the timeline and pull it to the
right to extend the clip's duration. That'll slow down the playing speed.
