Same thing happened to me - I found the answer in the MS Knowledgebase.
Probably your Temporary Internet Files folder is full - see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;306907 . Go
Tools|Internet Options - under Temp. Internet Files, click Delete Files.
