Hi all,

Is MS Access Runtime 2007 available?
If yes, download path?
If not, when will it be available?

Best regards,

No, it's not ready yet, and no official date has been announced (other than
it will be out this year).

By the way, did you know that it will be free? Seehttp://blogs.msdn.com/clintcovington/archive/2007/01/30/the-runtime-a...
for details.

So, in the meantime...
I need to install the Office 2007 upgrade on my computer. What will I
need to do to be able to distribute my Access programs to users that
don't have Access on their computers?

(Sorry to hijack your thread, but I didn't want to start another on
the same subject.)

If you upgrade to Office 2007 Professional on your computer, you'll be
painting yourself into a corner. The runtime for A07 isn't out yet. You won't
be able to create a runtime version until after it is released.

You may still be able to buy a version of Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the
Microsoft Office System with which you can create Access 2003 runtimes.

Multiple versions of Access can coexist on the same system. I have
umm, five versions on my system right now.

Starting another thread would've been just fine.
