IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRANSFORM SHAPES?

FARAZ QURESHI

I want an Oval to be converted to a Rectangular shape, or a Triangle to be
transformed to a circle. Any possibility?

You could achieve this with custom animation. For example use collapse on the
oval and stretch on the rectangle which should be set to animate with
previous. Hope this helps.

Sorry Rae,

But I am quite new to the software and don't have the idea of collapsing or
stretching. Could you please email me a simple sample file at
(e-mail address removed). Shall really appreciate your help.

Thanx in advance.

PowerPoint doesn't do shape morphing like Flash does, but Rae's idea is
excellent. You didn't say which version of PowerPoint you're using, so I'll
give instructions for 2003.
Draw an oval and choose Slide Show>Custom Animation. With the oval selected,
choose Add Effect> Exit> More Effects> Collapse.
Draw a rectangle and choose Add Effect> Entrance>More Effects>Stretch. Set
this ones Start to With Previous. Then the oval disappears as the rectangle
appears.
You could also exit the Oval with a Fade animation and entrance the
rectangle with a Fade animation.
