Is it possible to share a printer with different usernames?

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Everywhere I read about sharing resources with Windows 2000
Professional in a workgroup, it is easier to share
resources if the usernames and passwords are identical on
both PCs.

I was wondering if it is possible at all to share a printer
across 2 PCs and not have the same password, but the same
username?
