I work in a school where they want to prohibit students from saving any
files what so ever to the computer. Is this possible using gpedit.msc? Or,
is it possible at all?

thank you for your help

Dennis

Depending upon what the computer is used for you can utilize GoBack 3.0
(from Symantec) with the latest update.

With it, you can configure the system so that upon every reboot, the system
will come back up the way YOU have it configured. That is, anything added,
or changed (good or bad) will be gone. You can also password protect this
function with an administrator password so that no one can bypass this
action.

It is used a lot in libraries, internet cafes etc. I have used it on
children's computers so that if they screw it up the problem will be
rectified on a reboot!

It does impact performance somewhat. You will have to determine whether it
is acceptable!
