Hi,
is the windows Defender an AntiVirus Program?
do i need to uninstall my antivirus and install WD
and does it work as an antiviruse and anti spyware??

No. Windows Defender is an Antispyware.
You need to have an Antivirus, also your firewall, and update your System
Operation System.

No and there is no attempt in any version of Windows to replace an anti
virus program.

Windows Defender is an anti spyware program.
It is best to use more than one anti spyware program.
Currently I use 3, Windows Defender, SpyBot S&D,and AdAware SE.
