Hi
At work we have just installed a new Wireless network (802.11g) which works fine with our XP Pro boxes but not as well with our lone XP Home box.
We decided to upgrade the XP Home box to XP Pro, but when I went out to Staples to get a copy, the Upgrade Box packaging mentioned 98/Me/NT/2000, but not XP Home. Someone at staples said there was no upgrade path for XP Home to XP Pro????
Looked on MS website and it says that XP Home is upgrade eligible
So my question is: Am I OK to upgrade Home to Pro?...Will I run into problems that, say, I wouldn't run into with a 98 to Pro upgrade?... Should I be worried, or is Home to Pro a no brainer
I realize this is probably a baseless concern, but I need some reassurance one way or the other
Thanks
