irratic mouse

im not sure why but my mouse cursor moves irratically
without me guiding it. also, when it moves, it opens any
files or folders in its path.

if you know what this is, or how to correct it, please
post a reply. thankyou for your help.

I believe I'd start by updating my virus definitions and do a full
system scan. Sure sounds virus related to me.

What happened when you tried another mouse? Any mouse?
