IPX/SPX configure

I need IPX/SPX to play games over a WAN (Win XP to Win 98SE), I don't have a
cable and netBIOS over TCP/IP is way too slow. Is there any way to do this
without using novell? You mentioned tunneling IPX/SPX through TCP/IP, how? I
am open to any help because I am desperate!!!!

You mean you don't have a cable modem??

If you are trying to play games over the Internet with a dialup connection
then it will be slow and there is NO solution as the laws of physics can't
be changed.

I have a cable modem, it is plugged into a router, and my computer has a
wireless adapter.

The first thing to eliminate is the wireless connection by using a cable to
the router just for an experiment.

Also what download/upload speeds does you cable service provide??
