when i connect my ipod nano via usb point, get a" itunes encountered a
problem "message and it shuts down. cannot get my computer to acknowledge my
ipod. haven't been able to ad anything since getting new computer in
november, very frustrated! any help apreciated

iPod is an iTunes/Apple product. Have you checked with them?

I would think that since Vista was launched with a claim that more than 5,000
hardware and software products work on it, that the ipod would be on that
list -since they have sold over 90 million ipods. I guess not.
