I seem to be having with my ipod in windows vista 32 bit . It seems
everytime I plug in my ipod it freezes itunes or the whole system itself,
this is just weird because it worked fine back on Mce 05. Any solution for
this problem yet?

The problem is iTunes, which is not Vista compatible. Try another manager
or wait for Apple to issue an update which, evidently, should be forthcoming
soon.

Drew--

I've run Itunes with the Ipod on several Vista builds for a good while with
no problem. One tip though that I got from one of the guys who manages Ipod
as to Vista. They are making some changes which I've never needed to
enhance Vista compatibility in the future but in the meantime:

1) Change the drive letter to far away from J for the IPOD something toward
the end of the alphabet. Do this at diskmgmt.msc in the run box.

2) Plug your ipod into the box and when Itunes pops up click the triangle to
the left of Drew's Ipod or whatever you call it>then on the interface with
tabs scroll down to Options for Manually manage music and Enable Disk Use
and check them.

E-I is reserved for network drives in XP/Vista--any hardware or network or
USB device. Sometimes in Vista there can be conflicts when an external
device with its own power supply Ipod or Nano uses one of those letters.

Put some good music on that Ipod--Hip Hop will rot your brain in 2 months.

I've been using Itunes with Vista for all the builds no problemo. My tips
to Drew can help.

Shout at Apple for not having Vista compatible software even though
it's been in a massive public BETA for over a year.

And MSFT has been so accomodating with their software on a Mac.

If you can't run your Ipod with Vista, are you able to find your car, unlock
it, and start it? It's just not that big a deal. I haven't found the Vista
box I can't run an Ipod with Imusic on easily.
