I am trying to set up remote desktop. When I click run and type ipconfig the
black command box opens for a second then closes and I can't get to my ip
address. How can I fix this so that I may acquire my IP address?

Run IPConfig from Command Prompt

Type "cmd /k ipconfig" in Start/Run

Type "cmd" (no quotes) in the run box to open a dos box, then type ipconfig
at the prompt. Type "exit" to close the dos box.

Type cmd in the run line and hit OK. You can then type ipconfig.

All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt, and run the ipconfig
command from that
