ipconfig

Whenever I try to use (ipconfig) this command I get a vary breaf dos command
screen apear and disapear. Why? How can I get the full use of this utility?

Do you run this from start - run - then type ipconfig or do you go to
start - run - then type cmd then when the command window opens type
ipconfig?

You need to open up a command window then run ipconfig within that window.

Or from the "Run" box
cmd /k ipconfig /all

One question though. The winipcfg that I used in win98, is not like the
ipconfig in win 2000 why?
