"ipconfig" command doesn't work

Hi All,

I have a XPE image with opening the DOS windows without any problem, but the
"ipconfig' or "ping" commands doesn't work. The error message show
unregconize comands. I think there are other commands not working as well,
which I haven't tested yet. Does anyone know what wrong with it? Do I miss
adding some component in this image?

Hi Joseph,

There is a saying:

So....

"Give a man a fish"......
You need to add the TCP/IP utilities component for ping and ipconfig. You
may also find use in the "Command line DNS Query utility".

Now....

" Teach a man to fish"
You can create filters in Target Designer to find owning components of
specific files your looking for. You can follow this article to learn more
about filters in TD.
