IP driver error code 2

Trying ping a local IP over Ethernet I receive the message "Unable to
connect IP driver, error code 2"

I have no idea what has happened on this PC runnin XP, the rest of the
network works properly...


Please dear ALL help me...

Hi,

Are you getting any event errors in the system event log? Have you tried
resetting TCPIP using netsh?
