Yep don't surf the internet at all, no broadband connection , no dial
up. Thats the only way to now show an ip address.
If you want email, surfing etc. the ip or rather an ip weill be
viewable. Now you can use a proxy server so it appears that you
are coming from a different location but for a home user that
usually more trouble then it's worth.
Your IP address is necessary information for the computer
you are connecting to to communicate with you,how else
will it know where to send the info to?
You can sign up for a proxy service (it's a go between).
