Someone has tricked me into getting my IP address

Is this bad news

What can I do to protect my PC

Please help, Im a bit worried!!

I don't think there's a problem with that. Someone can always simply find
out your IP. And if you are connected to the internet through dial-up, the
ISP provides a randomly generated IP each time you connect. There's no
reason to worry about that. You should consider setting up a firewall, so
you'll feel safer.
