IP Address Test Failed

Here is what happened:

I can ping computers on my subnet, but nothing else
outside of the gateway and dns servers. I cannot see
other computers on my subnet through the Network Browser.
Other computers on the subnet CANNOT ping me or see me.

I ran the Network Diagnostics test and the only test that
failed was the IP Address Test.

Any suggestions?

You need to set the address of your router in the default
gateway option. Your computer doesn't know what address
to use to get out of your subnet.
