IP Address in Browser

Having a problem with connection to a printers IP address
within a web broswer. I can connect to the printer through
hostname in a web browser but when I put the printers IP
address into the address bar I get page cannot be
displayed.

In the title bar when I connect through hostname I can see
the IP address which means it is resolving.

Any help would be appreciated

There maybe hostheaders setup on the printer's W2k machine. If that's the
case, and it's not in the default website, it may cause what you're seeing.
