INVALID_PROCESS_DETACH_ATTEMPT

My computer has started displaying this blue-screen
message. I recently installed ZoneAlarm firewall. On
another forum somebody suggested that this blue-screen
error was the result of a conflict between the firewall
and a Windows XP Pro hotfix (Q811493), which I also have
installed on my machine. Is this true, or is it a
completely different matter?

Please help.

Q811493 had issues with WinXP slowing down after installing update.
Maybe a conflict with Zone Alarm firewall is one
of them. Uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs in
Control Panel. See what happens.

811493 was a problem if installed prior to 5-28-03. However on that date MS
updated 811493 and is no longer a problem. If you have been faithfully
updating the old 811493 will have been replaced with the new 811493.
