Hi All,
I had this window appear upon bootup for two days, e.g. Invalid Handle in
the dialog box, with lsass.exe inside the panel. The first time the startup
cycled through this panel three times, without offering intervention and then
started up fine, without symptoms. The next day, it showed this message
once. I searched the internet and microsoft for solutions or understanding.
Most warned this was the Sasser bug, but other correctly pointed out that
this file does exist in the windows system directory. The solution I found
that seems to have worked was to do F8 on startup. Then choose to use latest
successful startup configuration (something like that). This was easy and
the problem has not occurred again.
Don't know the cause, but it followed an adobe acrobat update.
Best of luck.
