Each time I type in me e-mail address in the reply box, say, to subscribe to a newsletter, I get the message that it is an invalid e-mail address
I have typed it in using every variable I can think of, caps ,no caps, etc
I can receive and send mail using the address with no problem, just the "invalid" when trying to subscribe.

Two possible explanations:
1. A spammer is harvesting your E-mail addresses and wants to be sure
it gets them all. ;o
2. A legitimate host is attempting to validate E-mail addresses on the fly
with the implied mail server and not getting any co-operation because the
server doesn't want spammers to harvest E-mail addresses that way.

Either way you can blame the spammers for a change in usability
on the Internet.

There might be some other reason for your symptom but it would be
simplest to ask the site what is wrong or try diagnosing the problem
with tools such as script debugger and packet trace.

Good luck
