I think somoene has got into my machine and (possibly amongst other things)
changed the look of my display so that all the windows are seriously concave
on the left and right edges.
Can anyone tell me how to get it back to normal.
The screen is actually bent even in DOS on bootup so not just in Windows
mode.

If the display is showing corruption at the first boot POST check
screens then the chances are that your monitor (or grpahics card) is
failing rather than being a problem related to any hacking. Try another
screen (or graphics card) first.

That's the pincushion setting on the monitor.

If you have buttons on the front of your monitor, other than the power
button, play with them until the problem goes away. If it can't be
corrected like that, your monitor is likely on its last legs.
