Everytime i try to open teh advanced tab in the intl.cpl in the control panel
i get the following error:
An exception occurred while trying to run
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\WINDOWS\system32
\intl.cpl",Regional and language Options"
This happened after installing sp2, and then i think i ran the windows setup
from my xp MSDN dvd.
Anyways...i searched all over the net and it seems the solution is to run
sfc -scannow, except it asks me to enter a CD, and when i enter my MSDN DVD
it wont see it? Also is running sfc which should restore missing or
corrupted sys. files from my DVD good idea, after having SP2???
In the end HOW DO I SOLVE MY PROBLEM? I need to open the advanced tab, and
install support for arabic. All my arabic stuff is messed up, since all
support for Arabic has gone from my winXP prof., and all arabic named files,
and arabic displaying progs. are showing weird symbols???
Any help will be much appreciate...thanx for reading the long message
